2018 NAGPS National Leadership Summit Application
The Leadership Summit is a national conference focused on the sharing of leadership techniques through seminars, guest speakers, and brainstorming sessions. Its an opportunity to engage talent at your university, and host fellow leaders from across the US for a valuable learning experience at your home institution. By hosting the Leadership Summit, you will be working with the NAGPS on bringing together newly elected/re-elected representatives to hone their leadership techniques to best prepare for the year ahead of governance and representative leadership for graduate and professional students at their institutions.

Past themes for Leadership Summits include diversity, sustainability, adaptive leadership, and leadership development. This event takes place at an important time for many graduate and professional student associations. The event can be held between June 1st and August 1st, right between executive board elections and the start of the academic year. This is a optimum time to to host an event that will help prepare student leaders for serving their constituents in the year ahead.
