Hunger Action Day 2020: Make Our Voices Heard in Sacramento!
Advocate for Change. Champion Hunger-Relief.
In California, over 5 million people face food insecurity. Hunger affects the well-being of everyone in our communities. We need you to tell your story about how hunger affects your life and our community.
Join Feeding San Diego, the California Hunger Action Coalition and Californians from all over the state as we gather to speak to state representatives about important legislation affecting hunger in our communities. Visit legislators, meet advocates and speak as a representative of San Diegans struggling with food insecurity.

-Dinner on the 5th, breakfast and lunch on the 6th in Sacramento and snacks for the bus

First and Last Name
To ensure we are representing a diverse group of San Diegans, we are limiting participation to 4 individuals per agency/organization. Each person from an organization must register independently from each other, or will not be considered to attend.
Preferred Method of Communication
We will be confirming details and providing important updates leading up to the event. Please let us know the best way to get a hold of you.
Have you attended HAD with FSD previously?
No, this is my first time
Yes, once before
Yes, more than once before
Would you like to be considered to be a group leader? (We recommend this for participants who have been to HAD before)
Group leaders will be expected to: attend a short training before the trip, be a point of contact for your group day-of, take more ownership of the legislation and talking points to help guide your group, and take pictures of your groups with legislators when possible. This is a great opportunity, and we will do all we can to support you in this role, if you are interested.
Please indicate anyone you would like to share a room with. (Note: This does NOT count as their registration, they must fill out this form separately to be considered for the trip)
The rooms have 2 beds and there will be 2 people per room, unless you are a family.
I understand the following:
Lunch and dinner on the bus are not provided by FSD, but all other costs are covered
I will be sharing a room with two beds with one other traveler
If I am unable to attend after registering, I will inform FSD immediately to open my seat up to someone else
Each person wishing to attend must complete a separate registration form
