Invitation to a Collaborative Workshop on Firearm Injury Prevention Curriculum
You are invited to Madison, Wisconsin, on Friday, March 14 at 5 PM through Saturday, March 15, ending at 3 PM, to participate in an in-person workshop to collaborate on developing medical school curriculum related to firearm injury prevention. This event is put on in collaboration with Scrubs Addressing the Firearm Epidemic (SAFE) and will take place at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Health Sciences Learning Center, at 750 Highland Avenue, in Madison, Wisconsin.

Given the scope of gun violence, we invite all the medical schools from neighboring states (Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan) to join forces to create comprehensive and culturally humble curriculum that equips our learners as they provide medical care in a culture that leads the world on rates of firearm ownership.
