Ascension Providence 6-month RN Residency program supports newly licensed and graduate nurses as they begin their practice as a member of the Ascension family. Ascension Texas' comprehensive, integrated program provides long-term support utilizing best practice strategies to address the transition from preparation to practice. A network of experienced nurses serves as coaches, preceptors, and facilitators supporting the RN resident’s transition into the nursing profession and a faith-based, not for-profit healthcare organization that provides person-centric care.
