Trout Lily Summer Camp 2026 Registration

Trout Lily is a Norwood based Montessori school with an emphasis on connecting children from Norwood and surrounding communities to the awe inspiring natural world.  Click here to learn more about us.   

This registration is for campers who are NOT currently enrolled students with Trout Lily.

We received overwhelmingly positive feedback about last year's weekly schedule.  So, we'll continue with that same weekly rhythm this summer.  Each week children may do bush craft on Monday, cooking and gardening on Tuesday, a creek exploration on Wednesday, art on Thursday, and river and kayak on Friday.  The activities will change throughout the summer so children joining us for multiple weeks won't cook the same thing or do the same art project, etc.

Camp is guided by the same trained Montessori teachers who support children during the school year.  Children will remain with the same staff member for the entire week, giving them a chance to build relationships with fellow campers and their counselor.  Children going out for a creek visit or river day will be transported on our buses.
  
Trout Lily Summer Camp is for children entering first through sixth grade in the fall of 2026.  Registration is limited to 30 children per week and subject to availability.  

Camp attendance is $250 per week and includes a t-shirt and a snack each day.  After payment, you will receive a follow-up confirmation email.  Your child's spot at camp is subject to availability. Full payment for all desired weeks must be received via Zelle to guarantee a spot.   

In May, we'll send an email with a list of what your child will need along with a few reminders and permission forms.

Camp Details:
  •  We will begin and end each day at our Base Camp in Norwood: 1810 Courtland Ave, Norwood, OH 45212
  • Camp will begin at 9am and end at 3pm. 
  • We'll provide snack each day
  • Please pack a lunch for your child
  • We have sun screen and bug spray, feel free to send in a preferred type if you have one you'd like your child to use.
  • Please make sure your child brings a hat and a water bottle each day.

I hereby waive any right that my child or I may have to inspect or approve any works that may incorporate use of my child’s photograph, videotape, or audiotape.

With submission of this form, I give permission for my child enrolled in camp to participate in all off-site locations, including transportation by school bus and supervised walking trips to nearby locations, as part of Trout Lily Montessori 2026 summer camp. I understand this permission is required under Ohio Administrative Code. I acknowledge that reasonable precautions will be taken for the safety of my child, and that staff will supervise all activities in accordance with Ohio rules. I voluntarily assume the normal risks of these activities and release the Program and its staff from liability to the fullest extent allowed by Ohio law, except for gross negligence or willful misconduct. I understand a copy of this signed permission slip will be kept on file at the camp.   *

Permission Slips
The following signed permission slip is required by the state of Ohio to be summited prior to or at the start of camp to participate in swimming activities at Otto Armleder Park & Caldwell Nature Preserve. Please download, sign and return to Trout Lily.


Each enrolled child will also need a completed medical statement. 


Signed forms can be submitted via email to josh@troutlilymontessori.org or dropped off in person the first day of camp. Forms must be submitted for the child to participate in the program.

Payment Information
Registration cannot be completed until full payment for the desired # of weeks has been made. Camp size is limited. You will receive an email with a confirmation once payment is received and your spot is secured.
