This workshop introduces the "3 baskets" of the Tipitaka, the ancient Buddhist teachings known as the Pali Canon, as well as the specific books containing the suttas (discourses). Participants will learn how to look up sutta references and be introduced to the style of language used in the suttas. The class includes reading and discussing a couple of texts, along with suggestions for ways to practice with texts as part of one's spiritual path.
