From layoffs in tech to anticipated challenges in the nonprofit sector to the continuing impact of the recent pandemic, the uncertainty of the job market means that many Brown alumni are currently facing change in their careers—or preparing to do so.
And we want you to know that the Brown community is here for you.
The Brown University Office of Alumni Relations launched the Career Initiative in 2022 to support Brown alumni who have been affected by recent layoffs, are finding their way back into the workforce after pandemic-related disruptions, or are otherwise dealing with uncertainty.
We are in the process of evaluating the pilot program, which ran from mid-Dec. 2022 to Feb. 2023, and planning next steps. If you didn’t participate in the first round but would like to be informed about subsequent iterations of the program, please fill out this interest form.
Whether you are seeking support or offering support, our team is ready to help you connect with the Brown alumni community to navigate these times.
