Signing Opposition to Data Centers
You are agreeing to sign this petition to oppose any data center over 100kW and 5000 sq ft in your municipality, and the proposed data center for Middlesex Township, PA.   This will be 1.35 GW of power (the equivalent of roughly 1 million homes), a 4.2 million sq ft data center (approximately 80 football fields) on 715 acres off Country Club Rd, in Carlisle, PA 17013.  The agricultural property is surrounded by homes and farmland. It will consume massive amounts of public water, and emit air, water, and soil, light, and noise pollution. Few permanent jobs would be created.
