Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Pilot in Command (PIC) Course

DFW Area Cost:
$500 per student (course cost includes training drone)
$375 per student (if department provides a training drone and controller)

Recommended Equipment for Class:
Department, or personal aircraft in order to better learn its maintenance and operations.
Next course anticipated to begin first Friday of March 2018
Day 1 = Fundamentals of Flight, COA/Part 107 Information.

Day 2 = Fundamentals written test and "trainer" flight skills testing.

Day 3 = UAS Academics.

Day 4 = UAS Flight skills demonstration.

Day 5 = UAS Academics test and Flight Skills testing.

This is an intensive flight skills and aircraft knowledge program with two (2) flight skills tests as well as two (2) academics tests as noted above that require passing grades of greater than 70% to continue in the course.

At the end of the program students will have the necessary skills and knowledge to maintain and operate UAS for Industrial or Emergency Services operations.
