FaithJustice Forum
FaithJustice Forum: A Nation of Immigrants
Sunday, May 7 at 12:30pm
Hughes Hall
Annandale United Methodist Church
6935 Columbia Pike
Annandale, VA 22003 22003
703-256-8330

Forum will address immigration policy in America, including how immigration has evolved, the rights of immigrants, and how people of faith are called to respond. Speakers include Erin McKenney, Executive Director of Just Neighbors. Program will be streamed on Facebook Live. Light lunch served. Child care available with advance registration.

The FaithJustice Forum offers the opportunity to explore how faith impacts the important social justice issues of our time. The forum begins with certain assumptions: 1) that people of faith add important moral perspectives to our national public discourse, 2) that discipleship includes teaching and learning about Christian social ethics and the role of faith in society, and 3) that people of faith are called to speak and take action in ways that do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. We invite those with diverse opinions and perspectives who are committed to dialogue, not mere debate, to active listening, not cross-talk.
