About Survey

This survey is conducted as part of the Horizon Europe-funded INTERSTORES project no. 101136100, which focuses on developing and implementing innovative solutions for seasonal Thermal Energy Storage (sTES) across Europe. The aim of this questionnaire is to gather insights from stakeholders across sectors to better understand current needs, motivations, and barriers related to  district heating, cooling (DHC) and storage. Your input will directly support the project's efforts in shaping practical, market-relevant innovations.

Data Protection and Anonymity 

Your participation is entirely voluntary, and all responses will remain strictly anonymous. We do not collect any personal data that could directly or indirectly identify you unless you choose to provide such information voluntarily (e.g. via optional fields). The only data important to our analyses in connection to your answers is country. 

Your email address and personal information will be required only if you decide to partake in the interviews. 

In accordance with the GDPR – Regulation EU 2016/679:

  • All data will be processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently.
  • Responses will be stored securely and used exclusively for research purposes within the INTERSTORES project.
  • No individual respondent will be identifiable in any published material or reporting.
