Service Crew

Are you interested in serving as a volunteer or as a member of Service Crew at the 2019 SE Regional AEE conference? We would love to have your help!

Service Crew Members will receive a $50 work-grant and will be expected to work for at least 5 hours during their assigned shifts. Volunteer positions are a great way to interact with other attendees and workshop presenters. This year we added Service Crew work-grants as a way to support members of our community that might not be able to attend the conference otherwise. Service Crew shifts involve helping with Registration, Workshop Support, and/or Pre-Conference set-up. Workshop Support will involve helping presenters get set up, pass out workshop evals at the end of workshops, and generally welcoming people and ensuring they are in the right location.

Registration (4 hour shift)

Workshop support (ensuring presenters and volunteers have what they need prior to workshop sessions starting, and greeting people & helping them find the right room at one of the two workshop locations. You will be able to attend workshops in the building you are assigned to. While these will count as 1 hour shifts, it is important to know that you will need to be there over the course of 3 or more hours since you will be working between workshops. All members of service crew will likely have at least one of these shifts.)
