Applications are invited for this course to develop artwork for exhibition using programming and embroidery.The course is over for four evenings starting in April in Trinity College Dublin, South Leinster Street from 6pm-9pm on 10th, 17th, 24th and 1st May..

Participants work will be shown in an exhibition & reception to be held in an evening in May - date & venue TBC.
COURSE CONTENTParticipants will learn to create embroidery by programming in Turtlestitch. Topics in programming and embroidery will be introduced and participants may use conductive thread to create wearable electronics. The majority of the course will be pursuing personal projects for exhibition at the closing session.
The organisers reserve the right to select from applications and to maintain a waiting list in the case of over-subscription.
The course is offered by the Computational Thinking for Life group in the School of Computer Science and Statistics, Trinity College Dublin in collaboration with Dublin City Council LAB Gallery and supported by the Trinity College Dublin Fund for the Visual and Performing Arts.
