Thank you for showing interest in the 2025 Wirt County Fair Pageant!
Our pageants will be held Wednesday, August 6th, 2025 at the Wirt County Fair Grounds (Camp Barbe).
Princess and Teen pageant will begin promptly at 7:15pm with our Queens division to follow at 8:15pm.
The 2025 WCF Royalty will reign over the 65th annual Wirt County Fair, August 6th -9th, 2024!.
Please remember, we are a closed county pageant. You MUST be a resident of Wirt County OR a graduate of Wirt County High School to be eligible to compete.
*Age Divisons*
Princess: 9-12 years old
Teen: ages 13-15 years old
Queen Divison: 16-21 years old.
(Queen contestants must not reach the age of 22 before January 1st, 2026.)
*Requirements*
Contestants attest that they are of good moral character and have not been involved in any act of inappropriate behavior that may bring harm to the pageant, fair, or its reputation.
All contestants and parents/guardians shall refrain from profanity and bullying. This type of behavior will not be tolerated. If we are made aware of any such behaviors, the contestant will be disqualified from the pageant and no refund will be issued.
Should any contestant in the Queen divison win a WVAFF title prior to August 1st, 2025, their entry fee will be refunded.
Newly crowned royalty will be prohibited from entering any WVAFF Pageant until the new pageant season begins in 2026.
(Entry Fees are non-refundable unless listed above.)
All winners will receive a crown, sash, plaque and flowers. The 2025 WCF Queen will receive a scholarship at the close of their reign as well as their entry paid to the 2026 West Virginia Association of Fairs & Festival Pageant, held in Charleston in January of 2026.
*Phases of Competition*
*Interview*
All divisions will compete in a three minute Personal Interview. The questions asked will be from the contestants bio, as well as any questions the judges feel fit to ask. (There will be NO political or religious questions.)
All contestants will wear a t-shirt provided by the pageant, white tennis shoes, and any type of denim bottoms. (Example - Jeans, Shorts, Skirts, etc.)
*Introduction/Opening*
All contestants will introduce themselves to kick off the evening.
(This phase is NOT judged!!)
This is a great opportunity for the judges and the audience to get a good look at all of the beautiful contestants.
*Sense of Style*
This is your time to shine and show off your personality in an outfit of your choice.
Please wear whatever you feel the most comfortable and confident in. From high heels to mud boots, we'd love to see it all!
Please remember to keep it age appropriate.
*Evening Gown*
This is the most elegant part of the competition. All contestants will model in a floor length gown. Please remember to choose something that you're comfortable wearing. You will be in this attire the longest.
(Gowns need to be floor length and must be age appropriate.)
*Onstage Question*
All contestants will be given two on-stage questions to answer. One will be from their bio, and the other will be drawn from a fish bowl.
The fish bowl question will be age appropriate for each divison. (No religious or political questions will be asked.)
*Entry Fee*
Princess: $75
Teen: $100
Queen: $125

Application and payment must be received by July 18th, 2025.
