I am currently recruiting research assistants passionate about diversifying STEM educational pipeline. As a research assistant, you will attend weekly lab meetings, work in a lab, learn about applying to graduate school, and present at professional conferences given the opportunity.

Research assistant requirements for the Technology Education in Cultural Context (TECC) Lab
** One Year Commitment **
** Attend weekly required lab meetings **
** Complete 5 hours of lab work on campus (this is in addition to lab meeting)**
- Must be enrolled as students throughout the year (minus the summer)
- Always be on time
- Ask questions when you're not sure
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with others in the lab, teachers at school sites, clients, and parents
~ No minimum GPA requirement, but your transcript must show improvement over time
~ Minimum commitment of 5 hours a week (does not include lab meeting)

As a research assistant you will receive the following experience and opportunities
~ Read assigned research papers and conduct literature reviews
~ Collect and analyze data
~ Contribute to the design and implementation of research projects
~ Present at conference (given the opportunity) and work on presentation skills
