RESCUE: Overdose Response & EducationFamilies Against Narcotics
Please Note: This request form is for private hosts only (i.e. staff, organization members, student groups). Private training sessions can be scheduled both in-person or virtually. Our primary service area for in-person events is Southeast MI. Private virtual trainings are available statewide.
If you are an individual looking to be trained, please return to this website page and locate "Upcoming Training Sessions" section to register for an event.
If you would like to host a public in-person training event for your community (ex. A church staff member who would like to offer their building as a location for a public training event), please indicate this in the "description of training audience" section of this form.
Basic training details:
- Length is approximately one hour
- Each participant who completes the training receives a free naloxone kit (two doses of NARCAN nasal spray), a certificate of participation, and, depending on class size, a rescue rebreather face shield.
- Date/time of training can fit the needs of your group (weekday, weekends, morning, afternoon, evening)
- To host an in-person training event at your location, the location must have an available "training room" for your intended class size. This room would ideally (though not required) have technology available to display a PowerPoint presentation.
