Slack User Agreement
The purpose of the Rotaract Club of Toronto Slack is to create a place of collaboration, support and community. The objective of this agreement is to ensure all users understand their rights and responsibilities and agree to abide by these conditions before gaining access.

There are different Slack channels some of them private. Make sure you are not sharing information with those who should not have access. If you are unsure please reach out to the Rotaract Club of Toronto President.

Each user is responsible for the content of all text, audio or images that they place send over the Internet and should keep in mind the Rotary Four-Way Test and Rotarian Code of Conduct.

All messages communicated on the Internet should have your name attached.  No messages will be transmitted under an assumed name.  Users may not attempt to obscure the origin of any message.  

Information published on the Internet should not violate or infringe upon the rights of others.  No abusive, profane or offensive language should be transmitted through the system.  

Internet messages are public communication and are not private.  All communications including text and images can be disclosed to law enforcement or other third parties if required by the documentation established by Rotaract Club of Toronto or Rotary International.

Rotaract Club of Toronto will have a zero tolerance policy for harassment or bullying. Rotaract Club of Toronto will not tolerate, ignore, or condone any form of discrimination or harassment and is committed to promoting appropriate standards of conduct at all times, consistent with the provisions of the Ontario Human Rights Code.

Fraudulent, harassing or obscene messages are prohibited. All users of the Rotaract Club of Toronto Slack workspace are responsible for respecting the dignity and rights of their and of other users. Bullying and harassment are serious forms of misconduct which may result in disciplinary action up to and including discharge of an user , and which may result in suspension or expulsion of a member.

Rotaract Club of Toronto will take any and all reasonable steps available to ensure a harassment-free environment, including barring the harasser from its facilities, where appropriate, or discontinuing business with harassers, as the case may be.
