ksepi2 is currently available for GE systems running release 26-30.1. Karolinska has tested ksepi2 on SIGNA Premier and Optima 450 systems.
Suggested protocols
here. We believe the best use of ksepi2 is its 3D SWI-EPI and 3D T1w EPI, able to produce a brain volume in 20-30 seconds.
If the intended use is human scanning, you can request access to the ksepi2 sequence. GE Healthcare also requires users of other customer's software to:
- Have a Research Key on your MR systems (Research Mode Limited License) from GE Healthcare. This is needed to allow non-GE pulse sequences to be installed on an MR system
- Have signed the Software Sharing Agreement (Research Community Sharing License) from GE Healthcare. This is needed to void any liability against GE Healthcare or the Karolinska University Hospital.
Please make sure this paperwork is current with GE Healthcare before requesting ksepi2, since Karolinska cannot verify these agreements.
