Nominating
a fellow business member for the Member of the Month award is important on several levels. Firstly, it fosters a
sense of community and camaraderie among local businesses, strengthening the
alliance's collective impact. It also provides valuable recognition for the
nominated business, increasing its visibility and credibility within the
network. Furthermore, it encourages a culture of support and mutual
appreciation, which can lead to collaborative opportunities and long-term
partnerships.
Ultimately, nominating a deserving business helps to showcase the
diverse talents and contributions within the alliance, creating a thriving
ecosystem for economic growth in the Royal Gorge Region.
The following guidelines will be followed in the selection process:
- Nominations are reviewed by the RGCA's Ambassador Committee at their meeting on the first Wednesday of every-other month.
- You must be a member in good standing with the RGCA to nominate another business.
- Each RGCA member may make one M.O.M. nomination each month, resetting on the 1st.
- You MAY NOT nominate your own business, a business you are employed by, or an organization you are affiliated with in any way. This award is about lifting up your peer businesses and organzations!
- Recipients are selected by the most nominations received. If there is a tie, the members of the Ambassador Committee will decide the tie-breaker.
- M.O.M. recipients are announced and awarded at the Business After Hours event held on the second Thursday of each month. Click here for more B.A.H. information.
- One business will be chosen out of the twelve annual recipients to receive the Member of the Year Award that is presented at the RGCA's annual banquet held each February.
