If you are applying from outside of Bloomington Schools, you are required to submit additional data:

1. Ability Data: We require results from one the following assessments:
  • Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT)
  • Otis Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT)

  • Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V). 

Note: The WISC-V results must be administered by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist. Our department can administer a CogAT for a fee of $50. If you prefer, you may obtain testing independently. Pat Geraghty (pjgeraghty12@gmail.com), Bloomington’s former Director of Special Education and licensed psychologist offers the WISC-V (IQ) assessments on behalf of our department at a reduced rate. 


2. Achievement Data: Please provide your child's most recent reading and math achievement data from one of the following assessments: 

  • FASTBridge

  • NWEA Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) 
  • Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS)

  • Woodcock-Johnson IV Tests of Achievement (WJ-IV)
