Pro-Truth Pledge Violation Report for Public Figures and Organizations
Directions: If you want to report a violation of the Pro-Truth Pledge by a pledge signer who is a public figure or an organization, we appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention!

First, make sure they are actually listed in the list of public figures or organizations that signed the pledge, as we had people report violations by those who didn't sign the pledge https://www.protruthpledge.org/public-figures-signed-pledge/

After that, please read these two articles before proceeding, to make sure you fill out the form correctly and provide all the needed information for us to investigate the matter.

Then, fill out the form.

First, you'll indicate which of the three areas of violation you believe occurred: the articles above provide a clear description of the three areas of violation.

Second, describe the nature of the pledge violation, and explain based on the description of the specific area of violation that you chose how what the public figure or organization stated violates the pledge.

Third, please provide supporting evidence of the violation in the form of at least one link indicating the public figure making the statement. Remember, the statement must be made in a public venue and address a topic of relevance to public discourse: we cannot investigate the claim without sufficient evidence, and the burden of providing the evidence is on the person reporting the violation.

The link can be a screenshot or a photo which you uploaded to a photo-sharing service such as imgur.com: for instance, you can take a photo of a book page, or a screenshot of someone's public comments in a social media discussion.

If the link contains a substantial amount of information, for instance in the form of an audio or video file or an article, please indicate specifically where to look for the violation, as otherwise we might unintentionally miss it.

For instance, you can indicate the violation occurred between minute 34 and 35 of a speech or in paragraph 10 of a blog piece.

If you do not follow the process as outlined above, we will be unable to investigate your reported violation. I hope you understand that we have limited resources available for investigation and must use them responsibly to investigate the reports of those who did follow the reasonable process outlined above. Thanks for your understanding!

We try to resolve claims within two weeks: feel free to follow up at info [at] protruthplege [dot] org if you have not heard from us within that time and followed the process outlined above. Again, thanks for helping keep the public figures who took the pledge honest!
