Paryushan Maha Parva - Saturday August 27th to September 5th

Jai Jinendra,

As you may be aware that Paryushan Parva starts from Saturday, August 27th 2016 and ends on Monday, September 5th 2016, JSGC is looking forward to celebrate these pious days very enthusiastically. It is our genuine effort in encouraging smooth aardhana for all of our fellow members during this Paryushan Parva. We would like everyone to have more opportunities for aradhana this year. Therefore, we are planning to have Swamivatsalya for tapasvis every day during Paryushan. We plan on keeping Swamivatsalya for those participating in the various Kriyas and dharm aradhanas in the derasar as well. This is a big undertaking and we are doing this for the second year time throughout all the ten days. Therefore, we are requesting our sangh members to volunteer and help us for the Swamivatsalya and then to wrap it up. We have a full schedule during these entire ten days at our derasar. We would like to see greater participation from our sangh’s members during this maha parv.

We have prepared a schedule that is full of Kriya’s, Puja, Aaradhana, Swadhyay/Lectures, Sadharmik Vatshalaya / Bhakti, Taap, Day Paushadhs (on Monday August 29th, Wednesday August 31st and Monday September 5th; see attached schedule for details), Vanchaan, Bhavana, and much more. Details of Paushadh samagri is listed below.

It is our humble appeal to our Sangh members to make sure to RSVP for the Swamivatsalya during Paryushan Parva. Your RSVP will give us an accurate count for all of the food preparation. We will need an accurate headcount ahead of time so please make sure to RSVP for each of the days. Our goal is prepare the right amount of food so there is no wastage, and also there is enough for everyone.

There will be a separate follow up email with RSVP link for swamivatsalya, please go through each days and RSVP accordingly. If you can volunteer in any capacity please let Pragna Shah (440) 263-4872 or Neha Shah (216) 374-9552 know.

We welcome you and wishing everyone the best aradhana for the Paryushan Parva. Please RSVP with Mukund Dalia at Phone (440) 263-5649 if you want to do Paushad for both men and women. Veena Shah will perform the Paushad vidhis for women. Following is the list for Paushad Samagri:
· One pair of clean cloths
· Shaal / Kamari (made of wool)
· Katasanu
· Charvalo

There will be Swapna Nakra. Also the following bolis will take place on Saturday, September 3rd - Aarti, Mangal Divo, Shanti Kalash, Kalpasutra and Bhagwan Parshwanath. We may have a Sanghpati boli for upcoming Chaitya Paripati too, details to follow soon.
