International Graduate Orientation will take place -- and is mandatory -- Tuesday August 14, 2018. There will be optional activities and events throughout the week, Monday through Friday, to help students get connected with other students and learn more about CSU and Fort Collins.

CSU International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) will send you several emails over the course of the summer with pre-arrival information; please read the information carefully.

Night Life Activities will happen each evening (Monday through Friday) between 5 and 9pm. Please indicate below which activities you are interested in joining.
Monday, August 13: Community Dinner (6-9 pm, meeting location TBD). Free dinner in the home of a local family, with other new students.
This activity is currently at capacity. We are sorry that we can not accommodate any more students on this activity.
Tuesday, August 14: Cultural Mentor game night with pizza and ice cream (6-9pm, meet @ LSC) *
Wednesday, August 15: Two Foothill Hikes - Choose One
*2:30 pm hike: Hike to Horsetooth Rock. This is a challenging hike, that is 5 miles round trip, with approximately 1450 feet (442 meters) elevation gain. This hike is not recommended if you have not lived at high altitude, or arrive in Fort Collins the week of orientation. This hike has beautiful views of Fort Collins and Horsetooth Reservoir, as well as the surrounding mountains.


*5:00 pm hike: Hike to the A/Horsetooth Reservoir. This is a relatively easy hike, approximately 3 miles round trip, with approximately 630 feet elevation gain (192 meters). This hike has beautiful views of Fort Collins and Horsetooth Reservoir, as well as the surrounding mountains.

Thursday, August 16: Dinner and Carnival (meet @ 5:30pm @ Laurel Hall) *

Shopping Trip to Walmart or Target *
