Department of Music Audition Request
The Department is planning to offer in-person auditions. However, video auditions will always remain an option.

If you would like to major or minor in music, you must complete an audition to be accepted into the Department of Music. Please read the information below carefully to understand your audition options. You will select one option when scheduling an audition this spring 2024:

In-person Audition:
February 10
8:30-9:30 Welcome Event for Students, Parents and Faculty (C125)
9:30-2:00 Music Literacy Predictive Exam (C115 lab)
9:30-12:00 Auditions
12:00-1:00 Campus Tour
1:00-4:00 Auditions  

February 24

* Percussion students, please email Dr. Kramer Milan at kramermilan@boisestate.edu if interested in auditioning on this date. Dr. Milan will be unavailable April 6th and will make alternate arrangements with you directly.   

Video Submission Audition:
Video Due February 5: follow-up Zoom meeting with area faculty on February 10
Video Due February 19: follow-up Zoom meeting with area faculty on February 24
Video Due April 1: follow-up Zoom meeting with area faculty on April 6
