Anishinabek Police Services: Stop the raids, drop the charges, and return the medicines you took.
On March 11, 2021 the Anishinabek Police Services carried out a raid on the High-Way 69 Medicinal Cannabis Shop located next to the Blue Sky Woman trading post in Shawanaga First Nation. The APS officers unlawfully charged two people and took all the medicine and money in the store.

We the undersigned, call upon the Anishinabek Police Services to immediately cease and desist raiding Anishinaabe medicinal cannabis dispensaries, to drop all charges against those they charged, and to return the medicines that they took.

We further call upon the Chief and Council of Shawanaga First Nation to inform the Anishinabek Police Services that they are not to violate our people's constitutionally protected treaty and Aboriginal rights and to inform the APS that they are banned from the territory.
