Chapter Micro-Grant Application
Challah for Hunger is offering chapters the chance to apply for grants of between $250 - $500 to strengthen and grow your chapter. We will be awarding up to 6 grants to be used between January - June 2019.

We invite you to think big and long-term. How can you use a grant to create a lasting change for your chapter?
*The grant CANNOT be used to purchase one-time ingredients like flour or oil.

Examples of acceptable grant uses:
• Buy marketing materials, such as a high quality banner or tablecloth for your sales table
• Plan a special event and invite a representative from your local partner to speak to your volunteers
• Cover registration and travel for conferences and professional development opportunities related to social justice, hunger, or other CfH-related topics
• Examples of last year's Micro-Grant recipients include supplies for creating advocacy posters, support for a volunteer appreciation event, and launching a parent-purchased challah subscription service.

By submitting this grant application, you agree to respond within 3 business days to all communication with CfH staff. This includes: officially accepting the grant via email or phone call if your chapter receives a grant and answering follow-up questions CfH staff may have about your application.

GRANT DEADLINES:
Applications open October 3 and close October 31
Students will be notified by December 14 and funds made available December 31
Grant evaluations are due May 15
