The KCC Scholarship
Open to all Seniors of Hays CISD

Scholarship deadline: March 21, 2023

Keeping Communities Connected is a non-profit organization that believes in connecting and giving back to the community in Hays County through volunteering.  The mission of KCC is to help connect communities, families, and individuals to information and resources that will nurture, educate, and grow them.  KCC cares about student's future and believes in serving the whole student.  To encourage students to pursue their dreams, we are offering this scholarship with a focus serving others through community involvement and increasing soft skills, as they prepare for their future endeavors.

Eligibility Requirements:

*Must be Senior at a Hays CISD School
*Must be accepted in a trade school or accepted for full time enrollment to attend an accredited junior or community college in the State of Texas, or an accredited Historically Black College or University?
*GPA:  2.5** - 3.0 or higher (**trade school or workforce only)
*Complete the application below:

Number of Awards: 4 Scholarships (Hays HS, Johnson HS, Lehman HS & Live Oak Academy)

Number of Awards: $500.00 - Up to $2000.00

Method of Disbursement
Awards are paid in two installments and mailed directly to the college or university. Please see scholarships for details.

The KCC Scholarship
The Keeping Communities Connected Scholarship is awarded to students who volunteer in the community.  This scholarship requires 50 hours of community service to non-profit organizations that impact the lives of others.
