Dear Superintendent Aguilar and School Board Trustees:

We are calling on you to agree to the Neutral Fact Finder's report, get back to the bargaining table with SEIU 1021, and avert the strike scheduled for Wednesday.

We need the District to show the leadership necessary to prevent this strike and to re-open the lines of communication with the teachers and staff. Every child has suffered through this pandemic. And our teachers and staff had shown up every day to make a safe and enriching environment - whether on Zoom or in-person.

You requested the Neutral Fact Finder so you should agree to his conclusions. It's time for you to back down from the battle lines and focus on our children. They've suffered enough.
