We believe that the Church has received a biblical mandate to teach and to train children in every area of faith and life. In this school, this shall be accomplished by the integrated study of the academic disciplines and the Word of God and by serving others. (FCHS Handbook, Statement of Faith #11)
FCHS students are required to serve within their communities for the number of hours designated below:
- 9th Grade - 10 hours
- 10th Grade - 25 hours
- 11th Grade - 40 hours
- 12th Grade - 50 hours
Suggested projects include but are not limited to:
- Teach/assist in a Sunday school class or other children's ministry
- Participate in a church program (vacation bible school, food bank, etc.)
- Volunteer at a hospital or convalescent home
- Help a sick or elderly person without pay
- Participate in a missions opportunity
- Volunteer in community projects (sports camps, animal shelter, etc.)
- Work in a teacher-approved project suggested by student
DUE DATES:
- Hours completed in the 1st Semester are due January 9, 2026.
- Hours completed in the 2nd Semester are due May 8, 2026.
