Property Rights Aren't Up for Grabs Happy Hour
Join The Texas Millennial Institute, the Institute for Justice, and America's Future Foundation - Dallas for a happy hour on Tuesday, April 12th at 7pm to discuss the Dallas Land Grab!

The Institute for Justice is diligently working to protect property rights and they are in the Lone Star State to support their client as well as host a rally to raise awareness about what's going on with this case! IJ representatives will be at TNT with us the evening before to talk about the case and share the importance of working to protect property rights.

The government's role is to protect property rights, so situations like this are perplexing. Come out for conversation around the case and broader philosophy over drinks.

RSVP to this event ahead of time and you'll get your first drink provided by America's Future Foundation!

Here's more about the case and the Protest the Dallas Land Grab event happening on Wednesday morning:

IJ Client Hinga Mbogo is an entrepreneur and owner of Hinga’s Automotive, a respected car repair shop in Dallas, Texas. We need your help to save Hinga’s business, which may be shut down if we can’t get the city to allow it to stay.

Hinga came to this country from Kenya and fell in love with Dallas. He opened his shop on Ross Avenue over 30 years ago. Now, city officials are demanding he close his business and sell his property to a developer because it doesn’t fit in with the city’s attempts to rebrand the neighborhood.

On April 13, Hinga will ask the City Council to reverse a previous planning commission decision and allow his shop to stay for two more years. IJ and local property rights activists will be there in force to show our support. Join us!
