The Platform Economy and the Future of the City
We look forward to you joining us on Monday, March 25-26 at City Hall, 1400 John F Kennedy Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19107. The goal of this event is to explore innovative policy, organizing and legal strategies to ensure that the costs and benefits of gig jobs and new platform technologies are equitably shared by all. The convening will bring together organizers, academics and policy leaders engaged in local and regional efforts from across the US and the globe. The convening’s panels and workshops will allow participants to learn about such efforts directly from those involved and provide ample time to explore the lessons learn and future directions and collaborations. We hope to arrange additional opportunities for invited guests to have conversations with workers, organizers and others outside of the panels and workshops themselves.

Please complete this form before March 18, 2019. RSVP required. For more information, please contact briar.smith@asc.upenn.edu
