Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas 2021 Scholarship Rules and Application
The Agriculture Teachers Association offers the ATAT Scholarship to members’ children upon their graduation from high school. Scholarships are awarded to all eligible applicants as long as ATAT membership requirements are met and the applicant meets all scholarship requirements listed.
Eligibility:
The applicant must be a graduating senior and the son/stepson, daughter/stepdaughter in good standing with the ATAT and meeting the following requirements.
Requirements:
Active Members: must have been a member for the past four consecutive years.
Associate members: before becoming an associate member they were an active member for three consecutive years and have maintained associate membership every year since.
Retired members: Honorary Life member (a member for 25 years+ prior to retiring).
Required information to be completed Online:

2. Essay: Minimum 100-word essay
Deadline: Application and supporting materials must be submitted online on or before April 1, 2021. Late applications will NOT be accepted. Once the application is submitted you should receive a confirmation message letting you know it was received.
Notification: Notification of the award along with the scholarship agreement form will be emailed to the student by June 25, 2021. The agreement form will also be placed on the ATAT website under Members>Scholarship.
Required Information to be submitted by email: Scholarship recipients must submit a scholarship acceptance agreement form along with proof of college enrollment for the fall 2021 semester (i.e. tuition statement, schedule, etc.) via email by August 23, 2021 to the ATAT office to receive scholarship funds. Scholarship payment will be mailed to the College or Educational Institution attending. Scholarship may be used for other education needs if not needed for tution. Please contact the ATAT office for more information. Scholarship may be deferred for a maximum of two years, to defer a scholarship send an email to
