NBCDC 2026 OFFICER NOMINATION
North Baltimore County Democratic Club officer elections will take place at the February meeting on February 24, 2026 (nominations will be accepted up until the election) and will last through February 27, 2026 at 11:59pm. You can nominate yourself!

To nominate someone, you must be a current member. Membership criteria includes:
-Paid 2025 dues ($10)
-Attended at least 2 meetings and/or events in 2025

Officer Positions:

-PresidentThe President shall preside over membership and Board meetings, oversee club committees, manage the club newsletter, maintain communication with the Baltimore County and Maryland Democratic Parties, coordinate club events, liaise between other democratic clubs, oversee the club website, distribute agendas for Board and membership meetings, and send regular updates to membership. 

-Vice President: The Vice President shall plan club events, assist with managing the club’s website and newsletter, book venues for club meetings and events, help secure guest speakers, and assist with managing the club’s email account. When designated, represent the club in the absence of the President. 

-TreasurerThe Treasurer shall manage the club’s bank account and ActBlue account, provide monthly and annual financial reports to the membership, manage accounts payable and receivable, coordinate fundraising, collect membership dues, notify members when they are in arrears, and provide documentation to the club’s tax preparer if needed. 

-SecretaryThe Secretary shall take attendance and minutes at all Board and membership meetings and distribute the minutes to the membership. 

-Philanthropy Chair: The Philanthropy Chair shall organize volunteer opportunities by coordinating with local organizations that help the community.

-Communications Chair: The Communications Chair shall manage the club’s social media pages, create social media content (e.g., graphics, videos, and articles), assist the President with the newsletter, solicit and write occasional articles for the newsletter, and oversee the club’s podcast.

-Legislative Chair: The Legislative Chair shall liaise between the club and elected officials, candidates, and campaigns, and coordinate the club’s GOTV efforts (e.g., early voting, postcarding).
