IAAE Mentoring Program
The mentoring Program for First & Second Year Arts Educators is a project of the Iowa Alliance for Arts Education (IAAE) and the Iowa Department of Education funded by the Iowa State Legislature and IAAE.
The purpose of this program is to improve the quality of arts education in Iowa through the mentoring assistance of beginning arts educators. It is intended to enhance the current state mentoring program by being discipline-specific for fine arts.
The Model of Excellence Mentor Program has been in existence for over ten years and serves fine arts educators from all fine arts disciplines including instrumental, music, dance, drama and visual arts.
If you know other fine arts educators who are new to the profession, please encourage them join the program.
