Reporting Form for Missed Lunch and/or Prep 

Dear Members,

WHPS has stated, and the WHEA agrees, that teachers are entitled to a 30-minute duty-free lunch and duty-free planning time each day. These protections are outlined in our contract and agreed upon by both parties. It is important for the WHEA to understand when and where these conditions are not being met so that we can appropriately address the concerns.

If you miss your lunch or prep period, please first alert your building administrator and request compensatory time. It is important to provide WHPS with the opportunity to resolve the issue at the building level.

If you are informed that compensatory time is not possible or will not be provided, please complete this form. The information will be used to contact you and assist in pursuing a resolution, whether through informal discussions with the Administration or, if necessary, through the formal grievance process.
