InnerCity Weightlifting Sign-Up: All Levels Welcome!
Join the Priscilla King Gray Public Service Center for CityDays: Together in Service, spend an hour working out, and support a local nonprofit. InnerCity Weightlifting’s (ICW) mission is to reduce youth violence by connecting proven-risk young people with new networks and opportunities, including meaningful career tracks in and beyond personal training. ICW uses the gym to replace segregation and isolation with economic mobility and social inclusion, disrupting the system that leads to urban street violence. By signing up for our group workout you'll join the efforts of ICW, have a great workout, let the youth trainers demonstrate their acquired skills in coaching your class, and learn about local efforts to connect at-risk youth with positive resources. The group workout will occur on April 18th from 1:00pm-2:00pm at the ICW gym. We'll cover the group workout fee and take care of logistics. Sign-ups are on a first come first serve basis and the class is limited in size. We will be in touch to let you know if you're able to participate shortly.

*This group workout will be for participants of all levels. It will not involve extremely heavy lifting, though it may include light weights, and will also include some stretching and light cardio. If you have any concerns about this, please let us know and we can communicate that to our trainers.
