Stockton Youth Symphony Preview Day
Central Valley middle school and high school musicians are invited to a FREE Preview Day. This is a workshop format session where we will practice and perform some pieces together! Symphonic instruments only (e.g. string, brass, woodwind, percussion). No saxophones or guitars. At least two years of experience playing is recommended.

So bring your instrument and let's make some music!

Registration is required.

About Stockton Youth Symphony
Restarted in 2024, the Stockton Youth Symphony (SYS) is formally known as the Central Valley Youth Symphony which was first established in 1965. SYS aims to bring together the most talented young musicians from across San Joaquin County and serve as a premier educational program for aspiring instrumentalists. SYS provides an inspiring and challenging environment where students can master their instruments and collaborate with peers to create exceptional performances. Although operating as the Stockton Youth Symphony, our roots and legacy as the Central Valley Youth Symphony continue to guide our mission of nurturing the next generation of musicians.
