NYSACTE Joint CTE Conference 2018 - Presentation Proposal Submission
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: Monday, January 15, 2018

Thank you for your interest in submitting a session proposal for the New York State Association for Career and Technical Education (NYSACTE) Joint Career and Technical Education (CTE) Conference, June 26-27, 2018 at the Holiday Inn - Liverpool/Syracuse in Liverpool, New York. We are looking for proposals that demonstrate outstanding best practices in high quality CTE programs and those that involve the audience in a meaningful knowledge transfer. Our attendees expect to not just learn of new and successful experiences, but gain the tools and resources that they put into action in their own CTE work.

SPECIAL NOTE: Workshops and Presentations are expected to be hands-on, interactive, and engaging for participants.

All proposals must be submitted by Wednesday, January 31, 2018. (EXTENDED)

Notice of Acceptance will be sent on or before March 30, 2018.

Due to the large volume of proposals anticipated to be received, should your session proposal be accepted by our reviewers, you will be asked to confirm your attendance within 48 hours of your acceptance. As an accepted presenter, you must agree to attend both days (Tuesday and Wednesday) of the conference to allow for scheduling.

Session Logistics:
 Presentation sessions are one hour in length.
 Please make note of any electronic equipment needs
 Have your presentation is on a USB to easily adapt to computer in workshop location
 Have items for distribution pre-printed and adequate quantities of 50 per presentation
 Plan to submit your presentation & hand-outs electronically to be available for attendees
 This conference is for all aspects of Career and Technical Education therefore, be sure and consider how your presentation can meet the needs of the broader audience.

Conditions: If your session proposal is accepted, you will be required to register for the conference. There is no other compensation provided and you will be responsible for hotel lodging, travel, incidentals and any materials you wish to distribute at your session presentation.
