EANS global neurosurgery collaborations
The EANS Global and Humanitarian Neurosurgery Committee invites you to participate in a survey aimed at assessing your interest in two projects that may contribute to improving neurosurgical care in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

The first project is the shipping of neurosurgical equipment from high-income countries (HIC) to neurosurgery departments in LMIC. This initiative aims to address the shortage of essential equipment in LMICs and improve the quality of care provided to neurosurgical patients in these regions.

The second project is the establishment of twinning programs between HICs and LMICs neurosurgery institutions. These programs would aim to foster long-term partnerships and knowledge-sharing between institutions in different regions, ultimately leading to the development of sustainable neurosurgical programs in LMICs. Examples of activities in a twinning program may include (but are not limited to) the exchange of neurosurgical expertise by on-site or remote training, the development of collaborative research projects, discussion of patient cases, joint morbidity and mortality meetings, grand rounds, conferences and workshops.

In the sections below you can simply express your interest in any of these initiatives! Future steps will be communicated as the projects will develop further.
