Summer Programme/Camp 2024: Parent Feedback
Dear Parents,
Our three weeks of the Summer Programme/Camp have come to an end. Camp is finished for children in Mainstream. For children in Sonas, we've one week to go until a half-day finish next Friday 26th at 12 noon. This short survey is to gather some feedback on your child(ren)'s experience of Camp, this summer, from your perspective. Your feedback is so valuable to us; it will help us plan for next Summer to ensure the best possible experiences for children. Thank you for sharing your views by answering the questions below.
Kind regards,
Sarah FitzPatrick, Principal

Home-based Support or Summer Programme: Parents whose children are eligible for the Summer Programme/Camp could avail of 'Home-Based Support' if the camp was not offered at Scoil Bhríde. With this option, parents can avail of 10 hours of support (one-to-one) for your child each week for up to 4 weeks, based on an arrangement between yourself and a tutor.
4. Is the Home-Based Support an option that may interest you for Summer 2025 for your child? *
Summer Programme Weeks: This year, over 30 staff are working on the Summer Programme at Scoil Bhríde. Given the challenge of sourcing and coordinating staff (and hand-overs between staff) for the Summer Programme, many schools offer the programme for up to two weeks only. This generally attracts staff who are already working in the school and ensures fewer staff transitions/disruptions for children.
5. If the Summer Programme was only offered for two weeks next year, which weeks would you prefer? *
Final Feedback: This year, we were delayed confirming over 30 camp staff and therefore, late sharing dates with parents. Next year, we will begin camp preparations at the start of Term 3 (May) and  confirm details with parents by the end of May. In addition to improving our planning and preparations and notice to parents, have you any further feedback for us?

We welcome any suggestions for the Summer Programme/Camp in the future - what to do and/or how? Tell us your ideas below.
