2019 Chapter Retreat Registration
Who: You there! Yes, ALL CNU Students are welcome!
What: CNU InterVarsity Chapter Retreat. It's most bestest.
When: Friday, November 22, 7:00p.m. to Sunday, November 24, 12:00 p.m.
Where: Triple R Ranch in Chesapeake Virginia (carpools leaving from campus)
Why: Because you make good life choices, setting time apart at healthy intervals to rest, retreat, rejuvenate, recreate, have fun with friends old and new, and learn from the Bible together. Don't you? Well...
Big Buts: "But I've never been to anything InterVarsity before" -- Yep, we would love to have you! Most of us don't bite, so come and make new friends. We promise it'll be great!
"But I don't know anything about Christianity, the Bible, or Jesus. Am I going to feel out of place? even stupid?" -- Not at all! This isn't a place for church kids to show off. Promise! We're all here to learn and grow together.
"But I'm definitely not a Christian. It's not my thing." We promise there's no hoodwinks or emotional manipulation. We're going to have a tun of fun at a great facility, have s'mores around a campfire, and study a bit of the Bible together in an engaging and relevant way, and then talk with friends about what we're thinking, what we're learning, what we're bothered by. Honest conversations about things that matter. We would love to have you with us for the weekend!
Cost: Early Bird: $80 Now - November 8. ($90 thereafter) This covers 2 nights lodging, 4 meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner on Saturday; Breakfast on Sunday), and lots of good snack food, coffee, hot chocolate, and s'mores. (Friday dinner can be procured from a large selection of dining options on Battlefield Boulevard in Chesapeake en route).
"Wait I don't know if I can pay that!" Understood! There is a scholarship application at the bottom of the form. Don't take it if you don't need it. But PLEASE don't hesitate to ask for it if you do. We NEVER want money to be the reasons someone doesn't come to retreat with us! (Fun fact: Some of our scholarship money is provided by alumni that had to use scholarship money as students. They had a good time on someone else's dime and now want to ensure that you can do the same!)
How: It's a simple 3-step process:
1) Complete this Registration form.
2) Immediately pay a $40 non-refundable deposit to our Venmo at
or username @InterVarsityCNU. Balance can be paid on arrival. You can pay in full at anytime. Cancellations will be refunded except for the deposit. Registration is not complete until deposit is paid, and we cannot guarantee your spot without deposit. (Exceptions when scholarship application for more than $40 is in process, otherwise deposit should be paid.) If someone other than yourself is paying for you, make sure they tell us who it is for! We don't know what to do with "Grandma Betsy paid you $40 for 'ow do i venmo pleasehelp'"
3) Go to Chapter Retreat! (WAIT! Not right now, silly pants! You can't do that part until November 22, but we're glad you're so excited. See you there!)

I prefer to live in the stone age and not use Venmo. I would like to write a check made out to "IVCF" and give to someone.
Thanks for reminding me! I had forgotten already.
Oh I remembered.
Dang I was hoping you would forget...ok I'll go pay now.
