Leflore Legacy Academy is in our third year of summer programming, funded through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program Grant. Through this grant, our goal is to provide quality programming for our scholars in a safe and healthy environment after the school year. We invite all Legacy scholars to participate in this free summer program. Though we invite all Legacy scholars to participate, we are limited to 50 available spots for the summer.
The 21st - Century summer programs are free to all Legacy scholars, and classes will be aligned with helping scholars identify lifelong career and college aspirations, make informed choices about college attendance and careers, and identify career goals. This program is an extension of learning time and a continuation of what is done during the course of a school day/year. The 21st Century Summer Program operates daily, Monday through Friday (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) at no cost to the scholar. The 21st Century Program will be held at Leflore Legacy Academy. This program will run in person only.
Applications will open Wednesday, May 16, 2023 at 6:00 pm. The application will close Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. If you have questions prior to hearing back from the 21st Century team, please contact Markita Smith (Site-Coordinator) at
