***PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS OF COMPETITION CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING UP***
The local SSHP Clinical Skills Competition is underway and all students at UHCOP are invited to compete! You do not have to be a member of SSHP to compete at the local level.
FORMAT OF COMPETITION:
1) For scoring purposes, there will be two divisions - P1/P2 and P3/P4
2) Participants will compete in groups of 2. It is preferred that each team member be in the same class (P1- P4). You may form a group with someone who is in another class, but you will be put in the upper division for scoring purposes. For example, if a P2 and P3 student are on a team, you will be placed in the P3/P4 category.
3) If you do not have a partner, please still sign up, and we will try to assign you one.
The 1st place teams from both the P1/P2 and the P3/P4 divisions will each receive a cash prize!
The overall local 1st place team (P3/P4) will represent UH at the Clinical Skills Competition at 2026 ASHP Midyear in Orlando,FL.
The winning P3/P4 Team will receive:
1) Complimentary ASHP Midyear Student Registration
2) An additional $250 reimbursement for travel expenses ($125 per participant)
The winning P1/P2 Team will receive:
1) $50 cash prize for EACH member
2) Certificate of recognition

DATE: Friday September 25th, 2025
AM session: 9-11AM in room 3001 (P1s and P3s)
PM session: 2-4PM in rooms 3001/3007 (All years invited)
**The finalist teams who qualify for the oral round will be contacted individually by Dr. Wanat for another scheduled date**
