MMSA Student Volunteers - Manitoba Medicine for HCP
PURPOSE: This form is intended at this time, for students from the University of Manitoba Max Rady College of Medicine to help with volunteering during the COVID-19 pandemic.
PROCESS: After you fill out this form, your information will be processed by a team of student volunteers. A corresponding survey form has been created for physicians needing help and requests will be downloaded three times a day. A team of student volunteers will be accessing this form and linking students with families or individuals who require assistance. If we are able to find you a suitable match, we will be connecting you via text/email and leave it up to you to make further arrangements. For now, one student will be matched to one request to avoid overwhelming this system and to limit community spread.
Please note that this initiative is not an initiative of the University of Manitoba Max Rady College of Medicine. It is a student-led, self-organized attempt to help the healthcare provider community. As the nature of the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, these services may become limited as we reach capacity. We ask that students ensure timely responses to requesters and respect each others' limitations during this challenging time. If you do not receive a reply after being connected with your family or individual in 24 hours, please contact us.
