EdCo EmergingTeacher Institute (ETI) Application

ETI will provide new and emerging teachers with instructional strategies, general and content-specific resources, and practical tools to meet teaching challenges experienced both in and outside the classroom.

A two-day in-person summer program, monthly workshops, and a tiered level of instructional coaching will be offered to participants.

All training will be conducted through a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens to benefit both students and teachers.

Completion of this application does not guarantee participation, and spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served and needs-based basis. In addition to the application, a phone interview may be conducted to determine where each applicant falls in the *tiered coaching plan.

^ Access to repository of resources managed by IC.

*Tiered-level of coaching will be constructed based on the following: first year teachers will receive three to four weeks of a coaching cycle on a rotating basis at their school that will include all above-listed elements; second year teachers may receive some or all the above-listed elements; and third year/veteran teachers may receive general support.
