AgAssist 2025 Cost-Share Opportunity: Supporting Farmers Protecting Water Quality

Please note:
  • Grantees are capped at a reimbursement total of $15,000 per farm. 
  • Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and batch processed about twice per year.
  • Applications of high priority may be awarded funding sooner.
  • We may contact eligible applicants via phone or email to further discuss their application and set up a site visit.
AgAssist Cost-Share has a number of opportunities available for farmers to improve water quality and soil health. They are:
  • Exclusion Fence (to exclude livestock from waterways)
  • Rotational Grazing Fence & Supplies (permanent interior fence for existing paddocks, temporary fence, and supplies necessary to rotational grazing)
  • Roof Run-off Structures
  • Small Manure Storage or Composting System
  • Vegetated Treatment Areas as part of manure storage or composting system
  • Soil Tests
  • Windbreak/Riparian Buffer Establishment or Renovation
  • Fall Cover Crop
