Catalyst - Visual Effects Live Demo and Q&A
November 19th, 2020 on Zoom at 16:00 CET.
Learn more about our Visual Effects programme with VFX specialist and Catalyst tutor Anton Egorov.
During our first Live VFX demo session, Anton will be covering "Matte painting", a way to extend sets or create backgrounds and concept art. He will be showing his approach to composition, the usage of masks and different effects to combine different images into one focusing on lights, shadows and blending options.
Anton teaches VFX, 2D and 3D assets, mechanics and dynamics, and analysis to our first and second-year Visual Effects students. He has worked as a freelancer for over 14 years, on all projects big and small, from music videos and feature films to VFX art and animation.
Join us online on the 19th of November at 16h (CET) for a Live Demonstration of these Visual Effects solutions for a better understanding of what it means to study and become a visual effects artist and a technological arts specialist. We’ll aim to answer any questions you may have about joining any of our VFX courses next year.
Feel free to send us any questions you anticipate in advance.
We'll share the link and password to join the live demo (on Zoom) a few days ahead of event.
Looking forward to e-meeting you soon,
your Catalyst VFX team
