Junior Division = Grades 7, 8, 9 (Minimum 2 years in 4-H)
Senior Division = Grades 10, 11, 12 (Minimum 4 years in 4-H)

Awards are given for accomplishments attained within the 4-H program.

HORIZON – This award is for 4-H’ers that have completed their 7th grade in school. The 4-H’er should demonstrate personal integrity, lead a well-rounded life, and possess a willingness to assume responsibility. They do not need to hold leadership positions currently, but should be recognized by their peers and adults who work with them as emerging leaders. Two recipients will be selected.

I DARE YOU – This award is for 4-H members that have completed their 10th grade in school. The 4-H member should demonstrate personal integrity, lead a well-rounded life, and possess a willingness to assume responsibility. They do not need to hold leadership positions currently, but should be recognized by their peers and adults who work with them as emerging leaders. Recipients will be offered an opportunity to attend leadership camp and bring information back to share in the Elkhart County 4-H program. Two recipients will be selected.

These awards are presented during the fair at the Park Stage.
