Purpose:
To provide funding for INNOVATIVE, teacher-led projects to support student learning throughout the Trussville City School system.

Saturday, November 29, 2025 by midnight
Award Amounts:
Up to $1,000 each.

December 2025
Funding Details:
Funding is available to all teachers throughout the Trussville City School system.
Physical education and health teacher requests will be accepted.
Athletic programs are not eligible for funding.
Funding may be used for classroom support, equipment or software.
Funding may not be used for everyday teaching materials, such as copy paper, pencils, etc.
Continuous funding for a previously funded project can only occur if the proposal requesting additional funding contains a clear, innovative, educationally-sound extension of the work that was previously funded.
Duplicate applications will not be accepted. All applications must be unique.
Teachers may not submit multiple applications as a single applicant; however, teachers may apply as a single applicant AND as a collaborator on another teacher's application.
Trussville City Schools Foundation will contact successful applicants for information regarding project implementation and evaluation.
Trussville City Schools Foundation may conduct a site visit for funded projects.
Selection Criterion
Each application will be judged based on the following criteria:
Project directly supports student learning.
Project is INNOVATIVE or “outside the box”.
Application clearly describes specific student outcomes and how success of the project will be measured.
Application includes estimated budget.
