2020 Conference Call for Abstracts
In anticipation of the Adventist Bioethics Conference on April 27-28, 2020, in Orlando, Florida, the planning committee invites abstracts from healthcare professionals working for institutions affiliated with the Adventist Bioethics Consortium (ABC). The submission should highlight ongoing work or upcoming projects related to the conference theme, "Ethics for the Ministry of Healing." We welcome papers addressing the ethical principles that guide us in the faithful delivery of Christ-centered healthcare.
Abstracts can focus on theoretical or practical initiatives by any discipline related to healthcare. Proposals may be based on quantitative and qualitative research, normative theory, or conceptual analysis. Proposals by multiple authors, or from multiple institutions, are encouraged, though only one submission form per abstract is necessary.
Authors of accepted abstracts will have an opportunity to share their work during the Adventist Bioethics Conference. Abstract presentations will be 10 minutes in length followed by 5 minutes of moderated audience response.
Abstracts are due Friday, February 14, 2020.
Author(s) and Degree(s)
If multiple institutions are provided, please provide author initials next to each institution.
Submitted abstracts should be less than 300 words (less than 2000 characters).
